EFT For Parents
"The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." Gary Craig, EFT Founder
EFT is an emotional support tool everyone can benefit from using. It is simple, safe, effective and easy to carry with you! It can be applied to the very young, the very old and the very stressed out parent! You can learn how to use EFT in a matter of minutes-and continue fine-tuning your EFT skills into an art form over time.
Tap to Support Yourself First
I encourage parents to remember that EFT is not only for supporting or shifting your child's emotional or physical energy. If your child is having a tantrum, chances are pretty high you may have your own reaction to their behavior. Be sure that you are tending to your own emotional needs first.
Tap To Support Your Child
Help your child shift their negative feelings and behaviors towards you and others. Help your child feel good about themselves and naturally become more cooperative.
Reasons To Tap On Your Child and/or Yourself
- When you want to "nip it" (a behavior or emotion) in the bud.
- When your child has experienced a trauma-emotional or physical
- When you see a repeating pattern or habit reappear
- When you are embarassed at your child's or your own behavior
- When you have "hit the wall."
- When you don't know what else to do
- When you've got nothing left to loose
